Description
Trulli conical stone roofs, Alberobello, Trulli Village, Puglia, Italy.
Alberobello is a small town (about 11,000 )In Puglia in southern Italy containing a small colony of houses known as 'Trulli'. The shape describes the roofs which are set in a decorative pinnacle. The story is that when the Italian tax collectors came, the houses were built on drystone so easily dismantled to avoid tax.
