Description
The "mathematical bridge" at Queen College and over the river Cam at Cambridge. This famous wooden bridge at Queens College was originally designed and built in 1749 but has been rebuilt twice since.
Founded in 1209 and granted a royal charter by Henry III in 1231, Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university.
