Bou Inania medersa main court in Fez, Morocco
The Madrasa Bou Inania is a religious in Fez. It was built commissioned by Sultan Abu Inan Faris between 1351 en 1356 and therefore a fine example of Merinidic architecture.
De name Bou Inania is derived from the first part of the name of Sultan Abou Inan Faris. The madrasa functioned both as an institute of religion and as a mosque.
